Mechanic - Work in New Roads
The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining fertilizer and fleet equipment due to needed maintenance or breakdowns.
What your day may look like Performs road service maintenance of vehicles and fertilizer equipment as required by P.
M.
reports.
Maintains and repairs all fertilizer equipment and vehicles in shop.
Calibrates fertilizer and spray rig equipment.
Performs general housekeeping duties in shop.
Assists Maintenance Manager with P.
M.
reports.
Performs DOT inspections.
Performs yard maintenance duties.
Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
Reliable and regular attendance is expected.
Education and experience needed for this position High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Five years of related mechanic work or certification is required.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Other skills that will help you succeed Knowledge of tools and machinery.
Welding and body work experience is preferred.

This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit.
You will be regularly required to lift or move up to 100 pounds.
