We seek individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire for hands-on experience, regardless of prior experience.
As a Meter Installer, your attention to detail, technical proficiency, and commitment to safety will be essential in delivering accurate measurements and ensuring efficient utility services.
In this role, you will earn a competitive per-meter rate for each installation, with additional pay for any additional work performed.
You can earn $1,000 or more per week by working with dedication and following instructions.
We currently have positions available in LA and TX, ranging from small to large projects.
Experience is optional.
We provide thorough training and pay you for your training time.
Responsibilities:
1.
Install water meters, electric meters, and gas radios accurately while adhering to safety guidelines.
2.
Test installed meters/radios to verify proper functionality and accurate readings.
3.
Collaborate with team members to prioritize installations based on customer needs and organizational requirements.
4.
Maintain comprehensive records of all installations, including meter information, location, and encountered issues.
5.
Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve meter and radio-related problems to minimize service interruptions.
6.
Assist in meter repairs, replacements, and maintenance as needed.
7.
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and educating customers on meter usage.
8.
Coordinate with utility providers and customers to schedule installations and access meters.
9.
Adhere to safety standards and regulations during all installations and repairs.
10.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to implement the best meter installation practices.
Requirements:
1.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2.
Previous meter installation experience is preferred but optional.
3.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools and interpreting technical diagrams.
4.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
5.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
6.
Willingness to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
7.
Reliable transportation is a requirement for this position.
8.
Valid driver's license, preferably with a clean record.
9.
Must be willing to travel throughout the USA for work assignments.
10.
Must be able to commute or plan to relocate for this position reliably.
11.
Recommended plumbing experience is beneficial but not required.
