State Inspector
Quality Lube Express Quality Lube Express Zachary, LA Zachary, LA Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time $9 - $13 an hour $9 - $13 an hour We are seeking a qualified state inspector to join our team at Quality Lube Express.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting vehicle inspections and ensuring that all vehicles meet the safety and emissions standards set forth by the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections according to the Louisiana state inspection program rules and regulations.
Perform emissions testing and safety inspections on all types of vehicles.
Review inspection reports and make recommendations for repairs or maintenance as necessary.
Keep detailed records of all inspections and maintain accurate records of all inspection equipment.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate inspection results to customers in a clear and professional manner.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
Participate in training and continuing education programs as required by the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, the candidate must possess the following
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of vehicles and experience with vehicle repair or maintenance.
Ability to conduct thorough inspections according to state inspection program rules and regulations.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues with vehicles that may need repairs or maintenance.
Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Ability to follow rules and regulations in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience as a State Inspector is a plus, but not required.
