## Job Description
Plans, directs and provides nutritional care to acute care and skilled nursing patients, out-patients and nursing home residents, conducts nutritional assessments and supervises work of Diet Tech.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR PROFESSIONAL
Qualifications: Bachelors degree or Advanced degree in Nutrition or Dietetics. Must have completed an accredited internship or AP4 program approved by the American Dietetic Association.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION, LICENSE: Licensed through the State of Louisiana. CPR certification required. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Prefer at least 2 years experience as therapeutic dietitian with counseling/educational experience desirable.
SPECIAL SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work independently and occasionally work nights to teach classes.
EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS KNOWLEDGE: Computers and other office equipment as it relates to the job. Safety equipment as it relates to the job and patient care. Medical equipment as it relates to patient care. Food service equipment as it relates to the job.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Schedule: 16Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
